ABOUT Prof. Jeanne Prinsloo (South Africa)

Jeanne Prinsloo (Ph. D, University of Witwatersrand, 2002) is Associate Professor for Journalism and Media Studies at the Rhodes University, Grahamstown where she teaches media studies/education. She publishes widely on media education and critical literacy and media and gender. She worked as a video producer for a Durban-based NGO, Audio-Visual Alternatives. She is a member of the editorial advisory group of Agenda, a feminist journal.
