ABOUT Prof. Dr. JoEllen Fisherkeller (USA)

JoEllen Fisherkeller is Associate Professor of Culture and Communication Research and teaching at the Steinhart School of Culture, Education and Human Development. Her interests include: young people's self/identity development and cultural learning in multiple media environments; media education for social change; youth-media production and cross-cultural communication; popular media audiences; interpretative/ethnographic methodologies. Publications in communication and education journals; author of Growing Up with Television: Everyday Learning Among Young Adolescents (2002).
